Karon Gaul

Karon Lynn Gaul, 72, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at home in the care of her family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 30, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer with Reverend Thomas Batsky, officiating. Friends may meet with the family Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Burial will be at New Troy Cemetery, New Troy. Karon was born March 20, 1949 in Three Oaks, the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lowe) Campbell. On August 8, 1967 she married Franklin “Vic” Gaul Jr and they shared 53 years together. Karon was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer. She enjoyed sewing, playing scrabble and taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband: Vic; daughters: Vickie (Paul) Fleck Cooney and Jody (Richard) Crutcher; grandchildren: Todd Fleck, Tori Fleck, Brooke (Ian Molitor) Fleenor, and Charles Fleenor II; siblings: Debbie (Alan) Craft, Karol (Bill) Krumm, Ray (Barb) Campbell. Karon was blessed with many nieces and nephews.

Karon was also preceded in death by a son: Todd Gaul; son-in-law: Peter Fleck; and brother: John F. Campbell Jr.
