Karen Curtis

Karen Sue Curtis, 54, of Buchanan passed away at her home on Sunday, May 1, 2016.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, May 6, 2016 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given toward the financial needs of the family. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.

Karen was born March 28, 1962 in Buchanan the daughter of Russell and Allie “Pat” (Barker) Curtis. Karen struggled physically and was confined to a wheelchair, but enjoyed getting out with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Brandy (Clayton) Schultz of Buchanan; a son, Jeffrey Myatt of Bridgman; two grandchildren, Jordan Myatt and Dallas Driver; her mother, Pat (Carl) Myatt, Sr. Of Bridgman; three sisters, Julia Novak and Char (Joe) Burks, both of Bridgman and Tracy (Chris) Bell of St. Joseph; a brother, Russell Curtis of Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Russell Curtis in 1993.
