Juanita Weatherford

Juanita Louise Weatherford, 74, of Sawyer, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, with Stephen Pylkas ministering to the family. Friends may meet with the family from 2 - 4 Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery, New Troy. Memorials may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service, 7301 Red Arrow Highway, Stevensville, MI 49127.

Juanita was born January 28, 1942 in Judsonia, Arkansas, daughter of the late Lawrence and Emily Rosella (West) Wood. On June 20, 1959 she married Kenneth Weatherford. She was a member of Christ Church in St. Joseph, MI.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 57 years: Kenneth; children: Tina Weatherford of New Troy, Deborah (Dale) Moudray of Harbert, Diana Sullivan of Bridgman; grandchildren: Melissa (Heath) Fador, Bradley Weatherford, Amy (Kyle) Settles, Billy Sullivan; six great grandchildren; siblings: Larry Wood, Roger Wood, and Mary Wood; and sister-in-law: Karen Wood.

Juanita was preceded in death by her brother - Clay Wood.
