Juanita “Tootie” Jean Blosser, 92, of Bridgman passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church St., Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Pike Funeral Home, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of SW Michigan, 5400 S. Niles Ave., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Juanita was born on October 29, 1932 in Bridgman the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Schlaak) Heyn. On June 30, 1951 she married Charles Blosser and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2001. Juanita was an avid bowler, winning numerous local and state titles. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, but most of all, being with her family. She lived the last 20 years in her daughter’s home and loved being a part of the grandkids lives.
Survivors include two daughters: Cynthia (Al) Bellings and Laura (Scott) McGhee; four grandchildren: Joseph Bradley, DeeDee Bradley, Morgan McGhee and Chet McGhee and several great grandchildren.
Juanita was also preceded in death by a son, William Blosser; six sisters: Beatrice Schmaltz, Virginia Essig, Wilma Meyers, Lorraine Waaso, Charlotte Waaso, Mildred Farris; and two brothers: Arnold Heyn and Gerald Heyn.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
