Joyce Skiver

Joyce Skiver, 78, of Baroda passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 9193 Cleveland Avenue, Baroda with Reverend Bradley A. Ross officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 12 Noon - 1 PM at the church prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Baroda.

Joyce was born December 31, 1935 in Baroda, the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Kolberg. Joyce was a teacher in the Benton Harbor School System and retired after over 25 years. She loved playing with her grandchildren. Joyce also enjoyed the activities at church and knitting quilts.

Survivors include her husband - Allen; sons Allen (Christine) Skiver, Daniel (Holly) Skiver and Bruce Skiver; seven grandchildren - Nicole, Christian, Bethany, Breanna, Katelyn, Daniel, and Brynlee Skiver.

Joyce was also preceded in death by a sister Josephine Marsh and a brother Arthur Kolberg.
