Josephine Mable Livengood, 102, of Bridgman went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Jordan’s Life Care Center, Bridgman.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 12 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Forrest S. Coe officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice at Home or the charity of your choice.
Josephine was born May 25, 1907 in Michigan City, Indiana the daughter of the late Oliver and Ethel (Chevrie) Lake. On September 2, 1928 she married Harold G. Livengood and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1977.
Survivors include two daughters – Dolores (Vernon) Coe of Rodney, Michigan and Jenny (John) Wymer-Maier of Hubert, North Carolina; three daughters-in-law – Lorraine Livengood of Sawyer, Dorothy Livengood of Stevensville, and Darlene Livengood of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 28 great great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Josephine was also preceded in death by three sons – Walter, Dallas, and Joseph; and seven brothers and sisters.
