Jonathan Charles White

Jonathan Charles White, 67, of Three Oaks, entered into the Glorious Presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Grace Brethren Church, 13310 California Rd, New Troy, MI 49119. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM on Tuesday at the church, prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman, MI. Jon was born on March 10, 1956 in Marshalltown, IA the son of the late Ronald Dean and Margaret Elizabeth (Ringold) White. He married Mitzy Ann Panico on April 17, 1982 at Olivet Congregational Church, Independent, Bridgman.

Jon was an avid Amateur Radio Operator (Ham) all his life. WA0TAQ. He loved watching Minnesota Vikings football. He moved from Iowa in 1979 to accept his dream job as an Electronic Technician for Heath Company in St. Joseph, MI where he worked for 15 years where they made Heathkits for Amateur Radio. He later worked at Lowes Home Improvement in Benton Harbor, MI for another 15 years until retirement. He wouldn’t let his disability of MS stop him from working as he would ride his electric cart at work doing his job. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by many of his co-workers and family.

Jon is survived by his wife: Mitzy; brother: James White; niece: Gina Panico; and a nephew: Carson Panico.

Arrangements have been entrusted in Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
