John Phillip Genovese

John Phillip Genovese, 64, of Bridgman went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids.

Cremation has taken place and at this time, the family will be remembering John privately. Memorial contributions may be given to Renucci Hospitality House, Grand Rapids, 290 Ransom Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

John was born on April 29, 1959 in Benton Harbor and grew up in Coloma and went to Coloma Schools. He retired from Vail Rubber Works Inc. in 2007 after over 19 years of work. He loved dogs and being outdoors with family and friends. John loved the Lord, his family, and his friends. He was always a joy to be around. He loved fishing and sports. His favorite teams were the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and Michigan Wolverines. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his siblings: Jim Genovese, Mike (Tami) Genovese, Bill (Bobbie) Genovese Jr., Tom Genovese, Matt Genovese and Kathy Genovese; dear friend: Laurie Orth; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

John was preceded in death by his God loving parents: Bill and Mabel Genovese Sr.
