John Erickson

John Arthur Erickson, 51, of Stevensville, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at home.

Funeral services will be held 5 PM Sunday, October 31 at The Chapel, EFC., 4250 Washington, St. Joseph, MI, with Reverend Philip Bubar officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 PM Saturday at The Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to The Chapel Missions, YMCA Strong Kids, or Grace Christian School.

John was born April 24, 1959 in Joliet, IL the son of Robert and Colletta (O’Neill) Erickson. John considered it a privilege to work as the Facility Director at the YMCA. He and his son Chris, also owned and operated Erickson & Associates - a pool maintenance & supplies company for 15 years. John was actively involved at The Chapel.

Survivors include his wife Cathleen; Children - Christopher (Katherine), Sarah, and Stephanie all of St. Joseph; Brother - Michael (Lynn) Erickson and Sister - Janice (John) Gilles both of Green Bay, WI; Parents - Robert and Colletta Erickson and Father and Mother-in -Law - Roger & Ida Curtis.
