Jerry L. Hildebrandt

Jerry L. Hildebrandt, 63, of Sawyer passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Corewell Health South.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Pike Funeral Home and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM, prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.

Jerry was born on July 9, 1960 in St. Joseph, the son of the late Otto and Phyllis (Goodline) Hildebrandt. He attended Trinity Lutheran School in Sawyer, graduated from River Valley High School in 1980, and continued to live on and work the family farm in Sawyer. Jerry was a hard worker and devoted to his whole family, and was always there when someone needed help. He had a talent to keep the farm equipment and the family vehicles running. Jerry loved the outdoors and always looked forward to deer hunting every year with his brother.

Survivors include his sisters: Cathy, Bev, Linda, and LuAnn (Darwin Eisenhart); Brother and best friend: David (Lorri) Hildebrandt; Sisters-in-law: Deb Hildebrandt, Cindy Hildebrandt; Nieces and Nephews: Evin, Adri, Kera, Jared, Justin, Joshua, Megan, and Nick.

Jerry was also preceded in death by brothers Richard and James Hildebrandt.
