Jerry Clay

Jerry Donald Clay, 58, of Bridgman passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home.

Jerry was a member of the Bridgman America Legion Post 331, 4241 Legion Street. were a gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 PM Saturday, August 14 with Military Rites at 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to the needs of the family.

Jerry was born October 21, 1951 in New Troy, Michigan the son of the late Harold Charles and Ethel Irene (Copper) Clay. He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his daughter Michelle Clay of Berrien Springs; stepson Kenneth Herbert of Kentucky; one grandchild, Mara-Lynn Clay-Humphrey; and his former wife Beverly Barnes; one sister Charlotte Marko of Stevensville and one brother Jim (Wanda) Clay of Union, MI.

He was also preceded in death by his sister LaVonne Hambrick.
