James Clayburn

James Edward Clayburn, 51, of Stevensville passed away Saturday, June 3 , 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Pastor Alvin Glassford officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S Crystal Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Jim was born May 21, 1966, in Marion, IN, the son of James Edward Clayburn and Nancy (Dunn) Clayburn. For most of his professional life Jim was a finish carpenter and worked for Nicholson Custom Homes. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with friends and was a die-hard Detroit sports fan.

Survivors include his children Justina and Jared Clayburn and their mother, Julie; his father: James (Sharon) Clayburn; brothers: Jon (Cheryl) Clayburn and Jere (Loretta) Clayburn and a sister Dawn Ingersoll.
