Jack Mangold

Jack Keith Mangold, 80, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 - 5 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Final resting place will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085 OR Berrien County Animal Control Building Fund, 9204 Huckleberry Road, Berrien Center, MI 49102.

Jack was born March 11, 1932 in Three Oaks, Michigan, the son of the late Elmon and Helen (Ziebarth) Mangold. On July 16, 1955 he married Clara Darlene Lloyd. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jack was an avid bowler and he and Darlene were diehard Cubs fans!

Survivors include his wife, Darlene of 57 years; his children - Debbie (Jim) Killingbeck of Bridgman, DuWayne (Sandy) Mangold of Missouri; grandchildren - Brian (Heather) Killingbeck, Kristen (Chris Lloyd) Killingbeck, Jason Mangold; brothers - Donald (Gail) Mangold of Baldwin, MI, Dale (Donna) Mangold of Niles, MI; sister - Thelma Heimel of Marcellus, MI; and his beloved dog - Abby.

Jack was preceded in death by four brothers Elmon, Norman, Melvin and Larry Mangold.
