Howard Mosbey Jr.

Howard Lee Mosbey Jr., 74 of Bridgman passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at West Woods of Bridgman.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Sunday, September 9  at the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Howard was born on Friday, January 28, 1944 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the son of the late Howard and Edna (Dingman) Mosbey. On February 22, 1964 he married Sharon Lohraff, they were married for 53 years, she preceded him in death on May 14, 2017. Howard attended Bard School, Benton Harbor and was a SAL member of the Bridgman American Legion Post 331.  Howard retired after forty plus years in the die cast industry.  Additionally, he loved to hunt and fish with his sons and loved his faithful pet cat Joey.

Survivors include his sons: Scott (Joan) Mosbey, Brian (Liz) Mosbey; grandchildren: Eric (Brooke) Babendrager, Jessica (Matt) Cross, Ryan Babendrager; five great-grandchildren: Avery and Macy Cross, Liam, Noelle and Willow Babendrager .

Howard was also preceded in death by two brothers.
