Helen Ott

Helen Margaret Ott, 94, of Bridgman passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Jordan’s Life Care Center in Bridgman.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman with Reverend Jon Bendewald officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 6 - 8PM Tuesday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Jordan’s Life Care Center Activity Fund.

Helen was born January 31, 1918 in Sawyer, Michigan the daughter of the late Adolph and Huldina (Tiede) Schmidt.

Survivors include her children - Shirley (Wayne) Tjader of Bridgman, Paul (Marilyn) Ott of Mishawaka, Dennis (Trudy) Ott of Bridgman; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul on April 19,1982 and 10 brothers and sisters.
