Helen Eleanor D’Agostino, 85, of Bridgman passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 16 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glendora with Rev. Thomas R. Brazinsky officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM Thursday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glendora.

Mrs. D’Agostino was born April 9, 1923 in Bridgman the daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Ott) Vigansky. On May 30, 1952 she married Joseph M. D’Agostino and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2002. Helen was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glendora, the Sons and Daughters of Italy Club, and the Southgate Club.

Survivors include her children – Cindy Fuller of Florida, Jan (Vincent) Trapani of Bridgman and Concetta (Leslie VanAlstine) D’Agostino of DeWitt; two grandchildren – Joseph Christmas and Calli Fuller; two great grandchildren – Aurora and John Hanein-Chagoury; a brother, Reinholdt “Bud” Vigansky of Arizona; and a nephew, Bill Kelly of Benton Harbor.

Helen was also preceded in death by a brother, Ray Vigansky, and an infant brother, William.
