Harriet Kaley, 92 of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Cambridge Manor in Grandville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 19 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake Street, Bridgman. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, from 5-7 PM, where a Rosary will be offered at 6 PM. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Cambridge Manor, 151 Port Sheldon Rd, Grandville MI 49418.
Harriet was born November 4, 1918 in Glendive, Montana the daughter of the late Engelbert and Johanna (Molenda) Nicolussi. On June 18, 1938 she married Eugene F. Kaley, Sr. and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1996. Harriet worked for several years as a baker for Lakeshore Public Schools. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and developing new recipes.
Survivors include her sons - Ronald E.(Patricia) Kaley of Wyoming, Mich. and Eugene F. (Robin) Kaley, Jr. of Watervliet; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Harriet was also preceded in death by a daughter - Patricia J. Chukinas; a brother, Edward Nicolussi; and two sisters, Frances Madej and Mary Nicolussi
