Harold Mensinger

Harold Herbert Mensinger, 97 of Buchanan passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

A private family service was held and Harold was laid to rest next to his wife Dora in Weesaw Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church of Glendora, 1733 W. Harold was born September 4, 1923 in Benton Harbor, the son of the late John and Olga (Zielke) Mensinger. On October 26, 1946 he married Dora Machan and she preceded him in death on March 18, 2008. Harold was a US Navy veteran. Although he worked and retired from Whilpool Corporation, his heart was in farming his land.  He and Dora tended their grapes, cattle and grain. Harold was a faithful member of New Troy Grace Brethren Church.

Survivors include a niece, Heidi (Ryan) nee Siewert Schmaltz; a nephew, Philip Siewert of Stevensville; dear friends, Shirley (August) Skala.
