Gerald "Jay" Hudson

Gerald “Jay” Louis Hudson, 58, of Three Oaks, passed away unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Jay was born June 10, 1963 in Grand Rapids. He was a strong believer and had a relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His faith was evident to everyone he met while living out the call on his life as an ordained minister. He is now in the loving arms of Jesus. Jay always lit up a room with his loving kindness and exuberant personality. He was a person of many talents of whom he loved sharing with others. He also loved to make others laugh. He authored and published several faith based testimonial and fictional books, was in many theatrical plays and was a recording song artist. He honorably served in the military as an Administrative Specialist.

Survivors include the love of his life: Nancy; his son: Noah; his mother: Ruth Ann (Earl) Hudson; three brothers: Joe (Anna), Ken and Earl (Annette); mother-in-law: Julianne Gast; Nancy’s son: Jacob (Julie) Martin; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
