Geraldine "Gerry Grandholm

Geraldine “Gerry” Grandholm, 94 of Bethany Beach passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman, Michigan.

   On Saturday, June 15, friends and family may meet with the family from 9 - 10 a.m., prior to the funeral service which will be held at 10 a.m. in the Bethany Beach Tabernacle, Sawyer Michigan.  Lunch will be served in the Community House after the service.  A private, family-only burial will follow lunch. Memorial contributions may be made to Rising Kites at www.risingkites.org/donate or by mailing a check to Rising Kites, P.O. Gerry was born August 11, 1929 in Chicago, the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Hlad) Dvorak. On October 9, 1948 she married Gordon E. Grandholm and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2004.

Survivors include four children: Beverly “Bunny” (Joel) Voelkert, Paul (Carol), Mark (Linda), and Jim (Carol) Grandholm; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Chad, Jenna, Tori, Tyler, Jami, Matt and Jodi; 19 great grandchildren; and two brothers: Robert (Dottie) Dvorak and Dan (Kathleen) Dvorak.  Gerry was also preceded in death by a brother, William Dvorak.
