Gerald Keller

Gerald Edward Keller, 71, of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 14, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman, with Pastor Jon Bendewald officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 3 - 5 PM Sunday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, PO Box 26, Bridgman, MI 49106 or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Gerald was born March 6, 1942 in Bridgman the son of the late Edward and Helen (Yerke) Keller. Gerald married Barbara Mabry on November 23, 1967 and they shared life together until her death on August 22, 2012. Gerald was a 50 year veteran of the Bridgman Fire Department. From an early age and for his entire life, he worked at and then operated the family business - Keller Fruit and Produce.

Survivors include his daughter - Michelle (Kelly) Branch of Stevensville; grandchildren - Ronald, Andrew and Sean; sisters - Karen (Bud) Terry of Crestview, FL and Linda (Doug) Miller of Bridgman; and nephews - Greg Miller and Tom (Kristie) Miller.
