Gary Allen Pries, Jr.

Gary Allen Pries, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at his home in the care of his mother.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in New Troy Cemetery, New Troy. Gary was born August 1, 1991 in Downers Grove, IL the son of Gary and Elizabeth (Smith) Pries. Gary loved Nascar Racing, reading, listening to music, and anything related to space and airplanes. He worked for United and American Eagle Airlines as an airplane mechanic. Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandfather Wendell Smith.

Gary is survived by his mother: Betty Pries aunts and uncles: Sue (Bruce) Herron, Jim Smith, Mick (Barb) Pries, and Matt Pries; godparents: Jim and Beth Irmis; and the Huff and Buonicore Families in Illinois.

Gary was preceded in death by his father: Gary and his grandparents: Wendell and Lois Smith and Mike and Ruth Pries.
