G. Jeanette Stine

Genevieve Jeanette Stine, 87 of Bridgman passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

A funeral service will be held 3 PM on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 2-3 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Jeanette was born February 28, 1935 in Bridgman, the daughter of the late Bruce and Grace (Rambo) Myers.  On June 18, 1954 she married her life-long love, James Richard Stine and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2021.  Jeanette was fiercely independent and could do anything she set her mind to, including getting her pilots and EMT license.  She enjoyed tending her flower garden and her orchids. She also drove school bus for the Bridgman Public Schools for over 25 years.  

Survivors include sons: James (Peggy) Stine, and John (Sharon) Stine; grandchildren: Tricia (Rich) Smith, Jeffry (Corinne Fleming) Stine, Eric (Jessica) Stine, and Christi (Mason Parsons) Stine; great-grandchildren: Braeden, Gavin, and Owen Smith; and a sister: Janiece Bilek.

Jeanette was also preceded in death by two brothers: Myrel and Nyle Myers and a sister: Ruby Swim.
