Fred was born in Chicago on April 8, 1930, the son of Frederick C. Albrecht, Sr. and Ella (Wickman) Albrecht.
Fred worked in the Engineering Departments at Bendix, Whirpool and then at Benton Harbor Engineering for over 33 years. In addition to working and raising a family, Fred served his community as a Trustee and Building Inspector for Lincoln Charter Township and the Village of Stevensville. He also served as Stevensville Village Clerk for many years and served on many committees in both the township and the village.
Fred enjoyed photography and was a lifetime member of the Twin City Camera Club. He also became a skilled stained glass craftsman, a hobby he enjoyed for many years.
Fred lived a life of integrity. His leadership and faith in God was an example to his family and all who knew him. He was a member of Woodland Shores Baptist Church in Bridgman.
