Frank E. Guerra, 79, of Bridgman, formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at home.

Frank was born February 15, 1937 in Chicago to the late Pasquale and Guadalupe (Almaraz) Guerra. On September 15, 1984 he married the former Mary Dawn Culter. He was a supporter of the Greater Chicago Ferret Association. Frank was a US Army veteran and retired after 32 years of service as a Sgt with the Chicago Police Dept. He was a 17 year investigator with the Illinois State’s Attorneys Office and was a member of the FBI Academy 107th session. The family will be forever grateful for the care Frank received by Hospice at Home, Right at Home, and Montgomery Place Rehab for all the love and care that was given during his illness.
Frank is survived by his wife, Dawn; son Chris (Tami); grandchildren – Johnnie, Todd, Ashley (Adam), great granddaughter, Ellie Daly, daughter-in-law, Bronwyn (John), a brother, Ishmael (Marla); and many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Frank was also preceded in death by siblings – Ruben, Clara, Dolores, Pat, Emily and Lupe.
