Frances Fox

Frances Ann Fox, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 10 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5760 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, with Father Don Suberlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan. Friends may meet with the family Tuesday from 6-9 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, where a Rosary will be prayed at 6PM.

Frances was born April 20, 1922 in Hamtramck, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank. and Garnet (Maslowski) Struzek. In 1941 she married Cass Perzanowski. He died serving our country during WWII. She later married Leonard Fox in 1947 and he passed away in 1971.

Survivors include two children - Mark (Cheryl) Fox of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI and Celestine “Tina” (Paul) Staniszewski of New Troy; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and one brother - Henry Slowikowski of Center Line, MI.

Frances was also preceded in death by her daughter Garnette Mielcarek.
