Evelyn Reif

Evelyn Mary Reif, 89, of Bridgman, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away at her home on Friday, February 3, 2012.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 7, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Bridgman with Father Arthur Howard as Celebrant. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM Monday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady Queen of Peace.

Evelyn was born December 20, 1922 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan, the daughter
of the late Arthur and Adelaide (Porter) Hillman. She was a switchboard operator and retired from Mercy Memorial Hospital in Benton Harbor.

Survivors include her sons - Richard Ryan of South Bend, and Thomas Ryan of Bridgman; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren -

Evelyn was also preceded in death by a brother Arthur Hillman.
