Evelyn Pschigoda

Evelyn Hannah Pschigoda, 88, of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Caretel Inns of Royalton, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman, with Reverend Jon Bendewald officiating. Friends may meet with the family before the service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Evelyn was born November 7, 1922, in Bridgman, Michigan, the daughter of the late Earl and Hannah (Hemming) Hyerdall. She and her husband, Myron, who preceded her in death in 1995, were married for over 54 years, and owned and operated Hyerdall’s Restaurant in Bridgman.

Survivors include her son Myron “Rody”(Sandi) Pschigoda of Bridgman; daughters - Joy (Jim) Timperley of Ohio, Gay (Tim) Schiller) of Buchanan, MI; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by a brother - Robert Hyerdall.
