Evangelyn Husmann

Evangelyn “Eva” Husmann, 85 of St. Joseph passed away peacefully Monday, April 23, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, April 27, 2018 at The Chapel, 4250 Washington, St. Joseph, MI 49085 with Pastor Tim Pietrogallo officiating. The family will meet with friends after the service at church. Eva was born Saturday, January 21, 1933 in Lowry, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Reckman and Amy (Anderson) Wilson. On July 12, 1952 she married Harry Husmann. Eva worked as the bookkeeper at Villard Elevator and Implement Company for over 20 years. She was a member of Gideons International Auxiliary as well as a member of The Chapel.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years: Harry; sons: Berwyn, Keith (Tracy), Lydell (Karen), and Galen (Melissa) Husmann; grandchildren: Hannah, Noelle, Brian, Erin, John, Morgan, and Colin Husmann, Kyla Cheatham and Michael Dorrey; and sister: Gladys Kirkwold.

Eva was also preceded in death by her siblings: Emily Peterson, Eunice Anderson, Ted Anderson, and Leonard Lewis.
