Eva Cooper

Eva Mae Cooper, 98 of Bridgman passed away peacefully Monday, April 30, 2018 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend David Londot, Sr. officiating. Friends may meet with the family Friday, May 4, from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Eva was born Friday, February 6, 1920 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of the late Horace and Anna (Groetsema) Pulsipher. On August 3, 1940 she married James “Jim” Howard Cooper. Eva and her husband Jim have resided in Bridgman since 1997, previously living in Kalamazoo, and Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 77 years: James “Jim”; daughters: Betty J.(Johnny) Jackson, and Mary L. Cooper; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; and her brother: Charles (Dorothy) Pulsipher.

Eva was also preceded in death by a daughter: Marjorie Carlson; and her sisters: Helene Hoag and Charlotte Hall.
