Ethyl Nordgren

Ethyl L. Nordgren, 92, of Bethany Beach, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

A private family graveside will be held Monday, June 27, 2011 at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman and a public memorial service will be 2 PM, Monday, June 27 at Harbert Community Church, 6444 Harbert Rd, Harbert. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to South Shore Fellowship, 4630 Hidden Creek Lane, Bridgman, MI 49106.

Mrs. Nordgren was born January 5, 1919 in Chicago the daughter of the Swedish immigrants Victor and Minnie (Gustafson) Lundgren. On May 10, 1941 she married George W. Nordgren and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2006.

Survivors include three children – Arlene (Donald) Wood of Arcadia, California, Jack (Maree) Nordgren of Bridgman, and Annette Nordgren of Hammond, Indiana; six grandchildren – Traci (Michael) Hardesty and their son, Nicholas, Jason (Rachel) Nordgren and their children, Bethany, Savannah and Silas, Joshua (Taylor) Nordgren and their sons, Jack and Finn , Josiah (Alexis) Nordgren, David (Karly) Wood and Cerissa (David) Hocker and their children, James and Clara;

The third daughter of five children, Ethyl is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
