Estelle W. Lomoro, 89, of Bridgman, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 5, 2012.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 9, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake Street, Bridgman with Father Arthur Howard as Celebrant. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the Mass at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given towards the needs of the family.
Estelle was born July 9, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edward Eugene and Lucinda (Baker) Ward. Estelle was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #331 and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children - Patricia Lomoro of Bridgman, Joseph Michael (Sandy) Lomoro of Bridgman, Dominic (Donna) Lomoro of Bridgman; grandchildren - Joshua (Kelli) Lomoro, Jacob (Lori) Lomoro, Joey Lomoro, Tiffany (Mike) Rochefort, Linda (Charles) Dotson, Michael (Bayley) Lomoro; 6 great grandchildren and an expected great grandchild this September.
Estelle was also preceded in death by her husband Mike J. Lomoro who died February 10, 1980; brothers - Joseph Ward, Henry Ward, and Edward Ward; sisters - Melvina Ward and Norma Ward.
