Duane Ehlert

Duane Frank Ehlert, 94, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, March 22, 2019 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend Nan Dehnke officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may visit with the family from 5 - 7 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the funeral home. Duane was born Monday, November 17, 1924 in Bridgman, the son of the late Harry and Martha (Kuhlow) Ehlert. Duane was a WWII veteran having served his country as a Seabee in the United States Navy. On September 13, 1947 he married Ruth C. Zordell and they shared 72 years together. Duane was a traffic manager at the Eaton Corporation for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife: Ruth; children: Kathleen (Douglas) Olsen, Kristine (Brian) Wilson; grandchildren: Bryon, Eric, Todd, Derek, Elissa & Kyle; great grandchildren: Brennon, Braden, Owen, Easton, Liam & Jase.

Duane was also preceded by his sister: Darlene Ehlert Hradel.
