Dorothy Priefer

Dorothy Mae (Loraff) Priefer, 86 of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph.

Dorothy was born Friday, February 12, 1932 in Bridgman the daughter of the late Emil and Elizabeth (Schulz) Loraff. She enjoyed bowling and playing a good round of golf, but mostly she loved being with her daughters, grandchildren and extended family.

Survivors include her daughters: Cathy Mathieu and Janet (David) DeLeeuw; grandchildren: Zac Mathieu, Jared DeLeeuw, Alexis DeLeeuw and Connor DeLeeuw; siblings: Carolyn “Mitzi” (Max) Nauman, Doris McLachlan; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her brothers: Henry and Emil Jr. “Sonny” Loraff; and sister Marie Detterbeck
