Donya Davis

STEVENSVILLE - Donya Ann (Blocker) Davis, 45, of Stevensville passed away at home on March 29, 2011.

A Funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, with Pastor David Coban, Sr. officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to a College Fund for her grandchildren in her memory.

Donya was born November 24, 1965 in Manilla, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Doyle Dean Blocker and BarbaraAnn (Fortson) Blocker. Donya lived for her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a Girl Scout leader, a friend to anyone in need, and the best mother and grandmother you could ask for. She was loved dearly by her many friends.

Survivors include her children - James Davis of Bridgman, KaSandra Capps of Niles; grandchildren - Heallee Davis, Emma Kirk; brother - William (Betty Jo) Blocker of Phoenix, AZ; cousin - Katrina Blocker of Berrien Springs; Fiancee - Kevin Mach of Stevensville; best friend - Jessica Smith-Holobaugh of Bridgman; and former husband - Richard Davis.
