Donald Wickham

Donald Wickham, 91, of Stevensville passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph.
Donald was born June 21, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois  the son of the late Oscar Henry  and Louise Mae (Beard) Wickham. Donald married June Reed  on July 1, 1949 and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2013.  Don worked as a Printer and worked for Whirlpool on the factory line. He was the founder of Seinan Judo Club in St. Joseph and instructed several hundred students including those from Lake Michigan College, Law Enforcement Agencies and Andrews  University.  He also was a landlord to many. Don served as a United States Merchant Marine.
Survivors include his children:  Charles Wickham, Christine Weidler, Cathleen Anstey, David Wickham and Brian Wickham; grandchildren - Emma C. Wickham, Mathew C. Weidler, Erin C. Palecek, Holly A. Palecek, Joseph S. Anstey, Valerie C. Anstey, Daniel H. Anstey, Amy Wickham, Susan Wickham; great grandchildren - Hannah E. Anstey, Daniel H. Anstey, Thomas J. Anstey, Marina Anstey,Ayden M. Burke, Isabella C. Burke, Daniel Bennet, Shane J. Anstey,Tesla Anstey, Zoe Wickham, Alexandra Wickham, Angela Wickham, Sophie Palecek and Jocelyn Palecek.
Don was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl Wickham and a sister, Mary Ann Hoath.
