Derry Paul Cornwell

Derry Paul Cornwell, 82, of Bridgman passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 at his home in the care of his family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 5400 S. Derry was born on September 25, 1941 in Benton Harbor, the son of the late Paul and Bertha (Schultz) Cornwell. On May 1, 1964 he married the former Kay Zook. In 2016, he retired from Reith Riley. Derry loved sports and his K9 companions, and most of all, his family.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kay; two children: Paul (Ruth) Cornwell and Reegan (Phil) Albright; and four grandchildren: Kaitlin (Shawn) Goulooze, Kari (James) Wells, PJ Albright and Paige Albright.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
