Dawn Marie Harvey

Dawn (DePriest; Schutze) Harvey, 60 of Buchanan passed away on December 29, 2022 at her home.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist them with expenses. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Dawn was born on September 20, 1962 at Fort Benning, Georgia, the daughter of Marion Franklin “Frank” DePriest and Karen Dunlap. On June 28, 2008 she married James “Sean” Harvey and they shared 13 years together.

Survivors include her children: Andrew (Marie) Schutze and Catherine (John) Shafer; grandchildren: John Shafer and Micah Shafer; sister: Jeannie DePriest and best friend, Brenda Smith.

Dawn was also preceded in death by husband: James “Sean” Harvey; her parents: Marion Franklin “Frank” DePriest and Karen Dunlap, grandmother; Loretta Dunlap.
