Clifford Skorupa

Clifford Charles Skorupa, 89, of Sawyer passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at his home with his family around him.

Friends will meet with the family at the family farm on September 10 from 1-5 PM.

Clifford was born December 25, 1921 in Baroda, Michigan the son of the late Thomas F. and Esther C. (Siemon) Skorupa. He was a concrete finisher for Pearson Construction and was also self-employed. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a volunteer of the St. Joseph Township Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife - Arellis “Ellie”; his children - Mary (Pete) Videnovich of Buchanan, Dan (Carrie) Skorupa of Sawyer, Clifford T. Skorupa of Bridgman, Sandra Skorupa of Sawyer, Janice (Fred) Nielsen of Ravenna, MI., James Skorupa of New Troy, and Robert (Joyce) Skorupa of Sawyer; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Clifford was also preceded in death by a son - John Lynn Skorupa and a daughter -in-law - Theresa Skorupa.
