Chester Martin Swietlik, 84 of Coloma passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family before the service from 11AM - 1PM at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.

Chester was born June 22, 1927 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Walter and Julia (Topolefski) Swietlik. He was a Seaman in the US Navy. Chester worked as a union printer for over 40 years at the I.S. Berlin Press and Fort Dearborn Lithograph Company both in Chicago.

Chester had been married to Anna Mahler and together they had 5 children - Marian Dobliski of Bridgman, Lisa Washburn of Allegan, Ramona (Tom) Kuzala of Mesa, AZ, Michael (Christine) Swietlik of Bridgman and a daughter Linda Long who preceded him in death in 1997. Survivors also include 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; an expected grandchild this September; brother - Eugene Swietlik of Chicago; sisters - Lorraine Weber of Chicago, Loretta Beckley of Chicago; and many nieces and nephews.
