Charles Foster

Charles Frederick Foster, 67, of Stevensville passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 PM Thursday, May 12 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Cancer Service.

Charlie was born April 2, 1944 in St. Joseph the son of the late John and Frieda (Zupke) Foster. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and a veteran of the US Army. He was employed at LECO Corporation for over 45 years.

On June 14, 1980 he married Linda Ann Krumrey and she survives along with
their children: David (Michelle) Foster of Watervliet, Michael Foster of Stevensville, Christine Rathgieb of OK, Lisa (Scott) Floyd of Benton Harbor, Missy ( Harry Roy) Foster of Bristol, IN; grandchildren - Dominic, Ryan, Tyler, Cati-Brie, Mercedes, Ja-Cee, Travis; brothers - Robert (Judy) Foster, Lawrence (Charlene) Foster, Lee (Peggy) Foster; sisters - Helen Flugrath, Mary Booth, Anna (Elson) Holdread, Gertrude Weaver.

Charles was preceded in death by two brothers - John and Leonard.
