Charles Everett Davis

Charles Everett Davis, 85, of Hamilton, Michigan passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Holland Hospital.  

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 12 Noon to 1 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the funeral home, prior to the service. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Chuck was born on January 25, 1937 in Charlottesville, Virginia, the son of the late Everett and Fanny-Fern (Smith) Davis. In 1962 he married Carolyn Kizaur and she preceded him in death in 2012. On January 6, 2018, he married Janet Skendzel. Chuck was a self-employed typesetter for over 40 years. He was a car enthusiast and loved trains and model railroading. He also enjoyed ham radio and bird watching. Chuck loved to spend summers boating at his summer home in Bridgman.

Survivors include his wife: Janet; children: Andrew (Ann) Davis and Sara (Kenneth) Maupin; grandchildren: Jamie Steier, Jillian Davis, Heather (Dino) Aranda, Korianne (Nathan) Stout, Cameron Maupin; great grandson: Xavier Aranda; a sister: Althea MacWhorter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck was also preceded in death by an infant grandson: Joshua Maupin and a brother: Reverend Walter Davis.
