Bob (Bobby) G. Brummett, 70, of Bridgman passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023 at West Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Bridgman.

 

His life began May 16, 1953 in St. Joseph, the son of the late Robert C. and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Brummett. He attended St Joseph Senior High School in St Joseph, joined the US Army serving 2 years in the States and in Germany. He had various jobs throughout his life time, making lifelong friends at every new venture.

 

Bobby had a quick wit, a kind heart, and was a loyal brother and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when it involved his most prized procession, his Harley Davidson. He was always up for a ride with his friends that were also avid riders. He loved having backyard cookouts with his friends and family.

 

Bobby is survived by his sisters: Wilma (Tom) Burkholder of Sawyer, Lynda Carol Johnston of Tennessee, Bonnie Smith of Bridgman; brother-in-law: John (Maggie) Chaddock of St. Joseph; granddaughter: Alexus, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Bob was preceded in death by his son: Brian; his parents: Robert and Mary Ellen; brothers: Robert Jr and Paul; sisters: Minnie Brummett and Maggie Chaddock.
