Bobbie Lee Smith, 73, of Stevensville passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may meet the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Bobbie was born October 8, 1943 in McClelland, Arkansas, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Allen) Smith. On June 4, 1966 he married Wanda Luedean Harding and they enjoyed 51 years together. Bobbie served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a machine operator for Gast Manufacturing. Bobbie was an avid reader of Westerns, but most of all loved doting over his granddaughter. He loved family life and worked at living that everyday.

Survivors include his wife: Wanda; his sons: Brad Jason Smith, Todd Michael (Mary) Smith; granddaughter: Cara; step-grandchildren: Deacon, Ada, Janiah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobbie was also preceded in death by his brothers: Terry and Bill.
