Beverly Jean Groenke

Beverly Jean Groenke, 93, of Berrien Springs, passed away peacefully on her birthday, Sunday, November 27, 2022 at West Woods of Bridgman.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Thursday, at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Beverly was born on November 27, 1929, the daughter of the late Steven and Evelyn (Fields) Bradley. Beverly retired from Lakeland Hospital in 1997 and continued to volunteer there after retirement. She also volunteered for the Berrien County Sherriff Office Posse. Beverly was a member at Bright Star Tabernacle, Eau Claire. She enjoyed bowling, Euchre, and University of Michigan Football.

Beverly is survived by her children: William Loraff, Richard (Mechaele) Loraff; and also Jane Carlson, Michael Groenke, and their father: Lonnie Groenke; grandchildren: Dave (Rose) Loraff, Derek Loraff, Linzey Sirk, Sarah Bouzas, Katrina Capek, Brian Geike, Nicholas Geike, Melissa (John) Minetto, Michelle Groenke, and Jess Groenke; many great grandchildren; and a sister: Kathy Spear.

Beverly was also preceded in death by husbands: Emil “Sonny” Loraff and Bill Ory; and a sister: Jane Hollacher.
