Arthur William Pauck, 97 of Bridgman departed this life to live in heaven with his Savior on November 21, 2012 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman.

His Coronation service will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 26, 2012 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Reverend Jon Bendewald of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may meet with the family from noon to 2 PM prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Box 26, Bridgman, MI 49106 or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Arthur was born February 28, 1915 in Athens, Wisconsin the son of the late Gustav and Theophilia (Gewiss) Pauck. On July 18, 1936, he married Dorothy Schmidt in Merrill, Wisconsin. Arthur and Dorothy moved to Bridgman in 2001 from Merrill, Wisconsin to live near their daughter, Marion. Arthur was employed in his earlier years as a factory worker and later as a carpenter/builder with Local Union #310. He was active in his home congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, WI as usher, Elder, Men’s Club, Treasurer, and as Alderman in his community for several terms. He enjoyed fishing (many prizes for largest fish), gardening, and building crafts and children’s toys for his family. His family was his pride and joy.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy; two children - Marion (Paul) Winter of Bridgman, Marjorie (Richard) Schuman of Arlington Heights, Illinois; five grandchildren - Jonathan (Donna) Winter, James (Heather) Winter, Sarah (Christopher) Deckert, and Elizabeth Winter all of this area, Sherry (Thomas) Hoffman of Arlington Heights, Illinois; nine great grandchildren - Piper (Shane) Current, Rachel (Kurt) Palleschi, Sydney Boos, Jonathan Winter, Jr., Alexis and Cassandra Deckert, Nicole and Matthew Winter, Matthew Hoffman; great great grandchildren - June Palleschi and Eiley Current.

Arthur was also proceeded in death by his parents, and his seven siblings: Augusta, Martha, Julius, Alvin, Henry, Goldie and Hildegarde.
