Arthur Ford

Arthur “Dennis” Ford, 78, of Benton Harbor passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Crystal Springs, Benton Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of SW Michigan, 641 S. Crystal, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Dennis was born Thursday, August 24, 1939 in Doylestown, Ohio the son of the late Arthur and Lois (Frase) Ford. On January 1, 1990 Dennis married Yoshiko and they shared 28 years together. He worked at Mack Engineering for 25 years and H & R Block for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife Yoshiko; sister: Belva (Rev. John) Owen; sister-in-law: Judy Ford; good friends: Dan and Judy Pooley and their family: Jacob, Taylor, and Brooke; Denny’s and Yoshiko’s faithful K9 companion Youke and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was also preceded in death by his brother: Robert Ford.
