Antanas Rumsa

Antanas was born on October 9, 1929 in Kaunas, Lithuania, the son of Zigmas and Ona (Ludaviciute) Rumsa. He grew up in Lithuania, attended high school in Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1950. Antanas earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1953, he married Brone Milasauskaite and settled in Chicago, and the family summered in Union Pier, Michigan.

After a lengthy career as a mechanical engineer, he retired to St. Joseph with his wife.
