Anna Hausmann

Anna “Annie” Lou Hausmann, 84, of Three Oaks passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11AM at Harbert Community Church, 6444 Harbert Road, Sawyer, MI. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to Harbor Country Food Pantry, 6 S. Elm Street, Three Oaks, MI 49128, Harbert Community Church, PO Box 197, Harbert, MI 49115, or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Annie was born September 11, 1927 in Three Oaks, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence Arthur and Helen Lydia (Dedrick) Drier. She graduated from Three Oaks High School in 1945. On July 16, 1949 she married James M. Hausmann. They spent their entire 62 years of marriage in Three Oaks. Annie retired from Harbor Country Banking Company as Assistant Vice President in 1991. Jim and Annie enjoyed spending their winters in Florida for many years. Annie enjoyed knitting, reading, bridge and golf, but most of all her family.

Survivors include her husband James; daughter - Marcia Dinges of Stevensville; sons - James (Sheryl) Hausmann of Baroda and Thomas (Sherri) Hausmann of Three Oaks; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother - Dr. William C. Drier of Waterloo, IA; sister - Marian H. Drier of Mesa, AZ; brother-in-law: William (Ilomay) Hausmann of Inverness, FL; and three nieces and three nephews.

Annie was also preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Ronald Dinges.
