Angelina Nichola Tucker

Angelina "Angela" Nichola (Carava) Tucker, 86, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Angela was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Nicholas S. Carava and Grace A. (Canale) Carava. She spent her early years in Chicago, surrounded by her loving and close Italian family.

Her parents relocated to Bridgman in the 1950’s where she eventually settled and remained for the rest of her life. She was a 1955 graduate of Bridgman High School and attended Lake Michigan College.

On September 1, 1962 Angela married Ted F. Tucker. They raised three children: Deborah Ann (William) Barr, Daniel Allen (Carol) Tucker and Eric David (Pui) Tucker in Bridgman and were an active family in all things “Bridgman Bees”. Angela enjoyed golf and she and Ted spent many winters in Florida amongst friends. Angela and her golf partner even won the Bridgman Pebblewood Golf League in her earlier years.

Along with her husband Ted and their children, she is survived by her sister: Frances A. Carava, grandchildren: Ryan Barr, Patrick Barr, Nicholas Tucker, Scott Tucker, Grace Tucker, Beam Aramthip and Bebe Aramthip.

She is preceded in death by her brother Nicholas S. Carava and her parents Nicholas and Grace Carava.
